Whether in Western or Eastern garden design, the shape of the circle is always an indispensable element. This symmetrical form shows a strong aesthetic and is an important metaphor for nature. Even in more profound meanings, round not only represents the perfect symmetry, but also interprets the essence of harmony, the universe, and nothingness. Round is a device to refract the state of the circle through the rotating kaleidoscope. By using the planetary gears, the pentagonal mirrors which embedded inside, allows viewers to find a balanced ring in the centre.
